This system utilizes the 15" woofer, boasting an impressive 150W RMS power handling capacity, paired with a Scan-Speak® (the famous Danish company founded in 1970) silk dome tweeter featuring a robust 90W RMS rating, neodymium magnetic system and remarkably low resonance frequency of 520Hz! Which allows us to cut it very low in the first order.
The power handling and low resonance of the tweeter, combined with the high-power capability of the woofer, ensures pristine sound reproduction even at very high volumes. Importantly, the woofers in both models are connected directly, without any additional crossover components (capacitors, inductors, etc.) for ultimate sonic purity and better impulse response. A simple first-order crossover network utilizing a 10µF capacitor seamlessly integrates the drivers, creating a smooth, detailed sound with exceptional high-frequency clarity.
Our Open Baffle system is built with uncompromising attention to detail, employing German-made Sommer Cable® copper wiring throughout - from a brand with a long-standing reputation in the pro-audio and audiophile markets.
High-quality WBT Nextgen® binding posts with gold-plated contacts, along with banana and spade connectors from Furutech® ensure a pristine signal path.
The contact surfaces are treated with DeoxIT® Gold to prevent corrosion and oxidation. This commitment to superior materials for optimal conductivity and resistance to oxidation guarantees long-lasting performance and exceptional sound quality.
The resulting system delivers a captivating sonic experience, exceeding 90+dB sensitivity, characterized by a controlled bass response, a smooth midrange, and incredibly detailed, natural highs.
